Overall, a quite casual stop, but for breakfast or lunch or takeout, nummy choice that I thought was affordable. Gramps Cafe is the best spot to have a home cooked dinner, with mismatched decor and a warm atmosphere. I do plan to go back for a sandwich or burger - they looked delish. My son who loves hash browns was happy that his container of hash browns was heavier than his sandwich and he enjoyed his whole meal.
For an example of food, I ordered a bacon, egg, cheddar and tomato croissant - $4! I thought it was quite satisfying. Food is served in styrofoam containers and plasticware and condiments (lots of them - bbq sauces to mayo, etc.) at a help yourself station. We ordered our food there and took the ticket to the regular gas station counter to pay after getting coffee from the normal gas station coffee machines (they did have Stoke ice coffee which was pretty good). Big cooking area and decent menu for breakfast. (although in a wall with no way to sit near it so.).

The dining area even had a tv in it and small gas fireplace. The restaurant portion is modern, inviting and not at all gas station like, but turn your head, and whoa, you are in a gas station convenience store.
